ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN grew out of a Parisian
manufacturing workshop set up by two engineers and transferred
to Saint Urbain (Haute Marne) in 1947.
ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN reorganized its
industrial activities and transferred the cold spring activity to
the Mussey sur Marne site (Haute Marne).

ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN transferred the
hot coil spring activity to the Fronville site (Haute Marne).

ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN pursued its growth by acquiring the Cousances les Forges plant (Meuse) at Etablissements
CHAMPENOIS with a view to transferring the anti-roll bar and wheel
shaft activity there.

1986 marked an important stage in the development of ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES
DE SAINT URBAIN when it became a subsidiary of the Italian spring
manufacturer REJNA (SOGEFI group).

| 1994 |
|
The new shareholder of ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN allowed
the company to pursue its growth, especially in the field of precision
springs. ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN acquired
100% of ES METAL and MONTAL and immediately absorbed them.

At the
end of the year, ATELIERS METALLURGIQUES DE SAINT URBAIN acquired 100%
of the ALLEVARD RESSORTS Automobile group.
