Allevard Rejna Autosuspensions is a major player in its industrial sector. The Group is composed of plants that have been established in many countries for several years and which are completely integrated with their local environment.

In order to improve this integration, whilst protecting the Environment, Allevard Rejna Autosuspensions encourages each entity to work according to the following objectives:

Reduction of energy consumption
Many efforts are made to reduce the consumption of gas and electricity, in particular by making a better use of facilities like  air-compressors, heat treatments machines etc.

Water Recycling
The reduction in  water consumption, as well as the control and the improvement of liquid waste processing,  are part of our permanent goals.

Process improvements
We have invested in the fields of surface treatments (elimination of Chromium VI), bonding techniques (elimination of Lead), dust filtering  and air quality control

Recycling
Our products form a crucial part of a recycling-loop. Steels used to manufacture them are produced starting from selected scrap and at the end of their lifetime our products are 100 % recyclable.

Waste Management
In order to decrease the quantities of waste and to give it a "2nd life", our waste is sorted and recycled.

ISO 14001: a standard in Quality
The majority of our sites are certified ISO 14001. It is the international standard reference for companies, in terms of environment protection.

To understand and to communicate
Internal and external communication is ensured at all levels: from an international to a local scale, all the employees took part or will take part in briefings in order to increase their awareness of the consequences of their professional activities.

REACH

The new regulation for the Registration, the Evaluation and the Authorization of Chemical substances,
elaborated by the European Union, took effect on June 1, 2007.
With immediate effect, Allevard Rejna Group will implement all procedures of analysis and recording as required.  For that, a project leader has been chosen to organize and control the implementation of the REACH programme throughout the European sites of the Group.
