| Precision Springs move to United Springs From January the 1st 2003, the current Precision Springs Division will move to United Springs Division with a new brand name and logo. Actually, after United Springs Ltd with its 2 English sites (Rochdale and West Bromwich) and United Springs BV with its Dutch sites (Coevorden and Hengelo) that respectively adopted the new logo in 1997 and 2001, it is now time for the French activities (plants of Charmes and Mussey) to turn to this new brandname. Doing like that, the Precision Springs activity, among the european leaders, will have a better identification from the markets and its international nature will be strengthened.

USA opening : ARA, World Group, has decided to answer its customer request and has built a plant in the United States for Suspension products. This plant is located in Huntington, West Virginia, closed to Kentucky and Ohio where already appear several module suppliers. The building of the plant and the assembly of the production equipment are almost finished. In the beginning of 2004, the plant will be ready to produce. First hiring have been done and training programmes are well started up with help of ARA technicians. The Plant will be on mass production on Spring 2004. A new order has been entered.

Awards On 11th April 2003, Roberto BRIGNONE, General Director of our Brazilian subsidiary, received the Award for the 2002 Best GM Supplier in brazil. The ceremony took place in Miami, and the award was presented by Mrs Maureen KEMPSTON-DARKES (CEO for Latin America, Africa and the Middle-East, GM Corporation) and Mr Robert SOCIA (Purchasing GM/FIAT Worldwide).
